A motivated team and a lot of creativity – memories of a former sportanddev.org intern.

What was your job at SAD?

I was an english speaking intern on sportanddev.org, responsible for proof-reading and publishing the english content submitted to the platform, as well as maintaining the social media channels. Over the seven months of my internship, I also contributed a number of commentaries to the platform newsletter.

What is the best memory you have from your time at SAD?

My best memory is the time spent working with staff. SAD is a very welcoming organisation with a highly motivating and creative working environment. Having only recently left, I can say that it is a very exciting time at SAD, and I look forward to seeing how this group of highly capable and committed individuals continue to make a difference.

Where do you work now and what do you do?

I’m an intern in the Health and Care department at the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Secretariat in Geneva. I’m working on improving internal communications between the Secretariat and global health staff, alongside contributing to the Federation’s Zika response with the emergency health and disaster management teams.
