Alashanek ya balady (AYB) is an Egyptian NGO that uses microfinance models, vocational training and bridging measures against youth unemployment in the country. AYB developed from a youth movement that emerged in Egyptian universities in 2002.
Together with AYB, SAD has set up a start-up fund for unemployed young people in Cairo and Al-Minya.
